The July Local Art Expo will hold a farewell reception for longtime Gainesville artist Judi Cain on Friday, July 5.
The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hotel Indigo (5020 SW 30th Lane) at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville.
Celebrate Cain’s contribution to Gainesville’s local community and say farewell as she heads to the next part of her journey as she moves north. In addition to Cain’s work as an artist, she is a former public school teacher and owner of Center Stage Costumes and Magic until 2009.
The event will feature Cain’s artwork displayed throughout the hotel. Cain creates portraits, landscapes, still life and “Creative Energy” paintings in multiple media.
Fellow art enthusiasts will attend the event, which will include complimentary appetizers.
