The Gainesville Police Department (GPD) announced that a part of West University Avenue will be closed for safety before, during and after the concerts. The closure will be between NW 17th Street and Gale Lemerand Drive starting at 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The roadway is expected to remain closed until roughly 1 a.m. each night.

GPD encouraged motorists to plan ahead, use different routes and expect heavy traffic in the area before and after the concerts.

For those planning to attend the concerts, here is some additional information to know.

Gates

All gates at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will open at 4:30 p.m. on both concert days. Guests are urged to use the gate closest to their section and seats to limit congestion and increase safety.

Attendees with field level tickets will need to enter via the SEZ Ramp located between Gates 15 and 16.

The ADA Wheelchair Seating Level (WSL) entrance is located close to Gate 3 on the west side of the stadium. Meanwhile, the VIP entrance will be at Gate 17 on the south side of the stadium.

Bag policy

Wristlets, wallets, clutch purse/cross body no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches are allowed in the stadium. Bags or purses any larger, regardless of being clear, are not allowed.

All persons and items entering the stadium are subject to security screening and inspection.

Parking

Advance public parking in the orange, blue and yellow zones on UF’s campus is sold out for both concerts. Attendees who did not pre-purchase parking passes should avoid traveling into these areas on show day.

Limited day of show parking is available in the Maguire Park & Ride Lot (Brown Zone) for $40 per vehicle. The lot is credit card only upon arrival.
