Lubee Bat Conservancy announced it will host its inaugural Baturdays of Summer, which allows visitors a chance to see the largest bats in the world up close.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Lubee Bat Conservancy (1309 NW 192nd Ave.). Tickers are limited for this event, which will return for June, July and August 2024.

Baturdays take place in an intimate setting. Visitors also can ask bat experts questions and enjoy activities in the conservation area such as educational presentations, picnics, and the Bat Barn and Education Center which is full of games and displays.
