A Migration With Dignity Vigil will be in front of Gainesville City Hall on Saturday, June 28.
The event will start at 7 p.m. and will recognize and honor immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers and call attention to current government policies regarding their treatment.
The vigil is being sponsored by a group of local Gainesville churches. Everyone is invited to attend the candlelight ceremony.
