MotoSurf event hits waves in Keystone Heights

Hit the beach in Keystone Heights this weekend for the inaugural MotoSurf Continental Cup and the first U.S. edition of the MotoSkate and Efoil races.

Registration and practice starts Thursday with the competition running Saturday and Sunday across five categories (MotoSurf Race, JetSurf Electric Challenge, JetSurf Tube Fun Race, MotoSkate Exhibition Race and Efoil Exhibition Race) and four levels(pro, hobby, women, youth).

The competition is free for spectators at Lake Geneva and, for racers, costs $150 for advanced registration or $200 in-person.

The first competition will start Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with events lasting until 4 p.m. plus an evening BBQ. The closing ceremony will be Sunday at 4:40 p.m.

The competition will feature motorized skateboards, surfboards and other watercraft with events will continue in Huntsville, Ala. and Sebring later in the summer.
