The city of Gainesville announced that Unity Park’s new restroom has been completed and is now open.

The project cost was $231,675. AKEA, Inc., a local minority, service-disabled veteran owned contractor, facilitated the project.

The City of Gainesville’s Wild Spaces & Public Places program and Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department have completed two more projects recently: updated lighting at Possum Creek Park and the new amenities at A.N.N.E. Park.
