
Students from Oak Hall School in Gainesville recently took part in the 2026 Florida Senior Thespian State Festival, with several earning Superior and Excellent ratings for their performance pieces.
The students joined more than 8,000 of their peers at the event, which was held on March 18-21 in Tampa.
Throughout the four-day event, the “students engaged in rigorous technical competitions and performance assessments while attending masterclasses led by industry professionals,” according to an Oak Hall press release.
Several Oak Hall students earned Superior and Excellent ratings for their performances. These students are listed below.
Superior ratings
- Duet Musical: Tanner White & Soié Haberman
- Costume Design: Elena Clark
Excellent Ratings
- Pantomime: Elena Westling, Kipp Vaughn, Cristian Spiguel, Adelyn Gurley, Gracie McMillen, Raigan Trefzger, Soié Haberman, & Elena Clark
- Playwriting: Lantana Holtzman
- Solo Musical: Taylor White
- Solo Acting: Charlotte Partain
“We are so proud of the hard work, courage, and passion our students brought to every moment of this experience,” Brooke Molitor, director of Fine Arts at Oak Hall School, said in the release. “The future of theatre is bright, and it is happening on our stage.”
