Partnership for Strong Families invites families from across North Central Florida to attend Celebrate the Child, a free community event focused on promoting child well-being, family engagement, and access to local resources.
The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center (1028 NE 14th St., Gainesville).
Celebrate the Child will bring together family-centered organizations and service providers for an afternoon of carnival-themed games, activities and entertainment designed for children and families of all ages.
Attendees can enjoy performances by circus entertainers, as well as complimentary pizza and snow cones, while learning about programs and resources that support safe, healthy, and thriving children.
Organizers say the event is designed to connect families with community partners in a fun and welcoming environment while highlighting services that strengthen children and families throughout the region.
