Author and essayist Sandra Gail Lambert will be the guest speaker at Sunday Assembly Gainesville on Aug. 17.

This free meeting will be held at 11 a.m. at the Pride Center located in the Springhill Professional Center, 3850 NW 83 St., Ste. 20.

Gail Lambert is an essayist and fiction writer, and her memoir, “A Certain Loneliness,” was nominated for the Lambda Literary Award. Her essays and short stories have appeared in The New York Times, The Gainesville Sun, Orion, Uncharted and The Paris Review.
