The Gainesville Community Band will perform a Swing Is King concert at Santa Fe College on Sunday.  

The concert will start at 3 p.m. and will be held in the Santa Fe College Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall (3000 NW 83rd St.) in Gainesville.  

The Gainesville Community Band will celebrate the Big Band Era and transport audiences back to the golden age of music with classical tunes from the swing era. Under the direction of Gary Langford, the band will perform pieces by Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong and others.
