The Santa Fe College Art Gallery will host an opening reception on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. for its new retrospective exhibit—The Best Is Yet To Come—by local artist Ernest Lee.
Lee grew up in North Carolina and began loving painting in his high school’s art class. Known for scenes of North Florida, the exhibit will feature original art along with in-progress works.
Lee won the Award of Merit at the Santa Fe Spring Art Festival in 2019 and served as an instructor for the college’s community education classes and College for Kids program.
