Sewing and craft supplies sale on tap for June 28

The North Florida Sewing Center will hold a “I miss Joann’s” sewing and craft supplies sale on Saturday, June 28.

The free event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church (826 NW 23 Ave.) in Gainesville. Cash and cards will be accepted, and there will be no early bird entry.

The sale will include fabric, sewing machines, quilts and other treasures. Proceeds will be used to further our mission.

The sale will benefit the North Florida Sewing Center with proceeds used to further its mission, which, according to its website, is to provide a safe space for collaborative efforts using needlework arts to promote health and sustainability for humans, animals and the environment.
