Santa Fe College will host the 51st annual Spring Arts Festival this weekend.

This year’s venue moved from Thornebrook Village, which hosted the event last year after the festival was canceled due to COVID precautions in 2020 and 2021.

The festival, which celebrates area artists, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The event – which is being held at a new location this year – will be held at SF’s Northwest Campus at 3000 NW 83rd St. in Gainesville.

This year’s poster artist is Stacey Breheny, a painter from High Springs. Breheny has taught at SF on and off since 1986 and is currently instructing an art class. She was also a museum artist at UF’s Florida Museum of Natural History where she did graphic design, was an illustrator and a muralist. Click here for a schedule of the two-day event.
