‘Sing into Spring’ concert on tap at SF College

The Santa Fe Singers will join the Eastside High School Chamber Singers for the annual “Sing into Spring” concert on Friday.

The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall at Santa Fe College’s Northwest Campus (3000 NW 83 St.) in Gainesville.

This year’s theme, “United through Song,” will feature pieces celebrating unity and connection. The program includes “Consider Yourself” from Oliver, “Sisi Ni Moja (We Are One)” by Jacob Narverud, and “Hands Across the Universe” by David Childs.

The concert will conclude with a sing-along and performances of “A Patch of Light” by Jacob Narverud and “Modimo,” a traditional Sesotho/isiZulu piece arranged by Michael Barrett.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for seniors, students, children 12 and under, and military service members, and they are free for SF students, faculty and staff with a college ID. Tickets are available at the Fine Arts Hall Box Office at 352-395-4181 or online at Showpass.
