Sister Hazel lead singer offering Mother’s Day videos

Sister Hazel lead singer and Gainesville native Ken Block is offering personal video messages for Mother’s Day.

Block posted the offer on his Facebook page on April 29 announcing that “MOTHER’S DAY Is coming up FAST!!”

“Looking for a cool and unique gift/experience? How about the gift of ME 😊 —- KB?!!,” he wrote. “I’m up on CAMEO now and we’ve been having a lot of fun creating one of a kind personalized video gifts for people from all over the world… For your Wife (mother of your dream crushers) – this is perfect!! Or for your own Mom (yes, you were her dream crusher) – This is PERFECT. Plus, you can even get your brothers and sisters to pitch in on it with you! “

Block explains in the video attached to the post that moms have tough gigs.

“I am more than happy to be a part of you celebrating Mother’s Day,” he says. “A fun little video, maybe sing a little bit, be funny. Find me on Cameo, it will be a fun memory.”

Block is the author of Gainesville-based Sister Hazel hits All For You, Change Your Mind, Happy, Champagne High, Your Winter and more, and is the cofounder of the Rock the Boat festival and Lyrics for Life, a non-profit organization with a mission of making a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer.
