The Suwannee River Youth Fair kicks off this weekend and will run until March 23 and feature a variety of competitions for the 70th annual event, from a dog show, heifer competition and tablescape competition.
The dog show and tablescaping competition will start the fair off at 9 a.m. on Saturday before a break until Friday, March 11, with a number of competitions.
The livestock competitions drive a lot of the show, but the 4-H creative life skills will have photography, clothing, food and cake decorating.
The fair hosts competitors from Levy, Gilchrist and Dixie counties and will be held at the Suwannee River Fairgrounds located at 17851 90 Ave. in Fanning Springs.
