The city of Gainesville’s Cultural Affairs Division is seeking local artists to participate in a summer exhibition entitled “Serenity – Art in Mediation” to be held at the Historic Thomas Center Galleries.
Submissions are welcome from both emerging and professional artists working in any medium and the deadline for submissions is Friday, Feb. 7.
The exhibition, which will run from May 30 to Aug. 22, will highlight original artwork and explore how the creation of art is used to promote body, spirit and mind in various forms of mediation
