‘Tom Petty Weekend’ on tap at Heartwood Soundstage

The “Tom Petty Weekend” three-day festival is slated for Friday through Sunday, Nov. 7-9, at the Heartwood Soundstage in Gainesville.

The Wallflowers with Jacob Dylan, the son of Bob Dylan, will headline the 2025 edition of the festival, which starts at 1 p.m. on Friday at 619 S. Main St. Tickets are available by clicking here.

Artists performing at the festival will include The Wallflowers with Jacob Dylan, Jeff Slate and Jake Thistle and the Gator Boys band, Shine and the Shakers, Someday Honey, Morningbell, The Ain’t Sisters, The Mudpies, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Fortune Child, Nancy, Luca Band, Driving November, Ronnie Gregg and Blackie Rie of Southern Accents, Robin Shakedown, Ric Marino and Don David, Salgo and the Temper Tantrums, Keith Eveland and Shilo.

The festival started in October 2017, 18 days after Tom Petty passed away. The annual event honors Petty, a Gainesville native, and attendees come from around the U.S. and Europe.
