University of Florida Facilities Services will host its sixth annual Children’s Christmas Parade on Tuesday morning.
The event will start at 9 a.m. and will feature holiday-decorated vehicles, utility equipment, first responder units, choreographed mower routines and an appearance from Santa Claus, according to a press release.
The parade will travel throughout UF’s campus, making stops at each Baby Gator location, the release said.
“As our Facilities Service team organizes the Children’s Christmas Parade, we want everyone to realize it’s more than just a celebration – it’s an opportunity to bring our community together and create lasting memories for our little ones,” Gregg Clarke, senior director of operations for UF Facilities Services, said in the release. “We are proud to bring the magic of the season to life for our community’s youngest members and create a joyful experience that will be cherished for years to come.”
The parade is open to the public, and spectators are encouraged to join along the route to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.
