UF will host its fourth annual Facilities Services Holiday Parade on Tuesday morning.

The event will start at 9 a.m. and will feature UF facilities services workers, the UF Police Department and first responders from Alachua County.

The parade takes place on the UF campus and starts on Radio Road near Lake Alice and will pause at each Baby Gator location and UF Shands Children’s Hospital.

The event will feature decorated utility equipment and fire trucks along with an appearance from Santa Claus.

“Facilities Services is forever excited to bring the Annual Christmas Parade to the children at the Baby Gator locations and the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital,” said Gregg Clarke, UF’s senior director of operations for facilities services, in a press release. “Seeing the joy and excitement on both the children’s and parade participant’s faces creates a holiday spirit for everyone to enjoy. We always want to make a difference and create positive experiences for the UF Community.”
