Enrollment for the 2026-27 4-H year opens Sept. 1. Youth ages 5-18 and adults interested in volunteering are invited to participate in 4-H, the nation’s largest youth development organization.

Alachua County 4-H offers clubs and activities focused on a variety of interests, including animals, STEM, public speaking, leadership, creative arts and participation in the Alachua County Youth Fair.

Youth membership is determined by a child’s age as of Sept. 1 of the current program year, which runs from Sept. 1, 2026, through Aug. 31, 2027. An annual $25 membership fee applies to youth ages 8-18 enrolling in community clubs.

New families can create a profile and enroll through 4-H Online. Returning members should log in to update their information and complete the re-enrollment process.

Families interested in exploring local club options can contact Sale at msale@ufl.edu to find a program that fits their interests.
