The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension Florida Well Owner Network will offer a free four-part webinar series to help homeowners better understand private wells, septic systems, water treatment and storm preparedness.
The bilingual series will be conducted via Zoom in English and Spanish and is designed for Florida homeowners who rely on private wells for drinking water and septic systems to treat household wastewater. According to the UF/IFAS press release, hurricanes, flooding and routine maintenance challenges can affect the safety and reliability of these systems, making education and preparedness especially important.
The series will be conducted via Zoom and offered in English and Spanish. Participants may register each online series from this website. Registration is limited.
