Wes Skiles Water Stewardship Awards on tap at Cade Museum

The Rotary Club of Downtown Gainesville will host the 11th annual Wes Skiles Water Stewardship Awards on Wednesday.  The award ceremony will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cade Museum (811 S. Main St.).  

The event includes recognition of this year’s award winners and a keynote presentation 2021 Woman of the Year in Agriculture, Angela Tenbroeck. Tenbroeck, a fourth-generation farmer, and her family have been hydroponic farmers in North Florida since the 1970s. 

The winners are presented with a plaque and cash prize for their extraordinary work and accomplishments at the event.

For the past 10 years, The Wes Skiles Water Stewardship Awards has recognized exceptional efforts in improving water quality and conservation in the North Florida area.
