Five Lake City teenagers were involved in a single-vehicle rollover accident Thursday night that resulted in one fatality.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, around 10:40 p.m. a sedan traveling southbound on SW Tustenuggee Avenue near the SW Minnie Glen intersection went off the right side of the road, collided with a tree and rolled multiple times before coming to a stop in an upright position.
A 15-year-old unrestrained male was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover and emergency responders pronounced him dead on the scene.
Emergency responders transported a 15-year-old male in serious condition and two 17-year-old males and one 15-year-old male with minor injuries to the hospital. One of the 15-year-olds reportedly was driving.Â
FHP is investigating the incident.
