A 34-year-old Alachua woman died Monday morning when her vehicle traveled through the intersection of NW 157th Street and County Road 235 in the city limits of Alachua and collided with a tree.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the woman was driving a sedan when her vehicle traveled through the intersection at 7:30 a.m.
Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead on scene.
