Answering the call: Alachua County’s 311 Critical Information and Crisis Center Line is there during COVID-19

At this time of uncertainty and social distancing, we need to maintain ways to feel supported and heard. We need trusted sources to help us dispel rumors and tell fact from fiction. We encourage people to reach out whenever they need someone to talk to: we will always answer the call.

The Crisis Center Line (352-264-6789) and the 311 Critical Information Line are always available to help.

As we cope with this quickly escalating crisis, and we face significant changes to our day to day lives, it is more important than ever that we find ways to connect and build community. Our Crisis Center volunteers have been extraordinary.

We have volunteers both locally and from across the country who have come forward to make sure that we are able to keep answering the call and be a source of support and information for our community.

At times of uncertainty and in a world of social distancing, we need to find and maintain ways to feel supported, and heard. We encourage people to reach out whenever they feel the need for someone to listen. We will always answer the call.
