A 19-year-old Archer man died Tuesday night when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on State Road 45 south of Newberry.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, a 46-year-old Newberry man was attempting to make a left turn across SR 45 north of SW 46th Avenue in his Ford F350 pickup at 8 p.m. when the Archer man, traveling north on a motorcycle while attempting to lawfully pass vehicles, collided with the pickup.
Emergency responders pronounced the Archer man dead on scene.
