Bell woman, 49, dies after being ejected from Jeep in Levy County crash

A 49-year-old Bell woman died Thursday evening when her Jeep traveled off the US 27 Alt in Levy County and overturned multiple times, ejecting her from the vehicle.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the woman was driving northbound on US 27 Alt near the intersection of County Road 345 at 6:15 p.m. when the Jeep traveled off the road and into the center median, where she lost control of the vehicle. The Jeep traveled back onto the roadway but overturned multiple times and ejected her onto the center median.
