Donteau Jenkins had a monster game rushing as the Eagles cruised to a 56-0 win at Halifax Academy in Daytona Beach.
Jenkins finished with 207 yards on eight carries.
Bronson led 12-0 after the first quarter and extended it to a 34-0 lead at the half.
“Good to get a win,” said Bronson football coach Russell Holley. “We are still struggling with keeping players healthy. We were missing several starters still.”
Jesse Williams also had a big night for Bronson with two receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown. He was also 1-for-1 passing for 65 yards, and he also added a 68-yard interception return for a touchdown.
“Hope this is the start for us to get healthy,” Holley said. “Donteau Jenkins and Jesse Williams had over 200 yards all-purpose. Hope we can string some wins together.”
The Eagles (2-2) will host Cornerstone Charter Academy next Friday, Sept. 24.
