Buchholz High School is reportedly on lockdown Tuesday morning as law enforcement conducts a follow-up investigation near the campus.
According to an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) release, SWAT team and detectives are currently conducting an investigation that is unrelated to the school. The release stated that there is no threat to students or staff.
The SWAT team was used to serve a search warrant for the ASCO detectives in an active investigation, according to ACSO Capt. Chris Sims in an email to Mainstreet.
Buchholz was taken off lockdown after the SWAT team left the area Tuesday afternoon.
