
The Chabad UF Jewish Student Center will host a forum entitled “How Charlottesville Changed America” on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Historian Dr. James Loeffler will talk about free speech, hate speech, and the politics of antisemitism. This event is part of the Forum for Fairness in Discourse, a program of the Bud Shorstein Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Florida.
Loeffler is a leading scholar in Modern Jewish History, and he will explore the complex intersections of antisemitism and free speech while drawing connections between national events and realities students experience on U.S. college campuses.
