Google MapsA 38-year-old Chiefland man died Saturday when he was struck by an SUV while riding his bicycle on County Road 345.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the Chiefland bicyclist was riding on CR 345 at 3:48 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 347 when a 74-year-old Chiefland woman driving an SUV collided with him.
Emergency responders pronounced the bicyclist dead on scene.
