The City of High Springs has announced the next Farm Share Food Giveaway for this Saturday, Jan. 23. 

The event is set to begin at 9 a.m. at the High Springs Civic Center, located on US Hwy 441 in High Springs. The event will last until the food runs out.

Organizers will conduct drive-thru distribution only—no walk-ups—and ask that participants keep windows up and drive forward with trunks open. 

The Farm Share Giveaway, a partnership between the City of High Springs and Farm Share, occurs 2-3 times a year. The last giveaway, held in November, included more than a dozen city staff distributing food to more than 400 families.
