Tribute videos and remarks from guest speakers will be presented on Monday starting at 6 p.m. at a memorial event for Rex and Brody Reinhart.

The Reinhart family and the Prince family invites the community to join in a celebration of life event to honor the lives of the boys who passed away on May 4.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. at Florida Ballpark at McKethan Field at 2800 Citrus Road.

Gate 2 is adjacent to Dizney Stadium and Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium on the southwest part of the University of Florida campus.

Scheduled speakers include UF’s head baseball coach Kevin O’Sullivan, former Gator football head coach Will Muschamp, former MLB outfielder Gary Sheffield, and Gatorball Founder and owner Stephen Barton.

The event is open to the general public. An invite to the event has been posted to Facebook. Organizers are encouraging attendees to indicate their intent to attend on the Facebook event page.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Rex and Brody Foundation by visiting www.RexandBrody.com.

The event comes amid an outpouring of community support for the Brody family, which released a public statement of gratitude ahead of Mother’s Day.
