
The Florida Department of Health reported 11,466 new cases to the Florida COVID-19 Dashboard, bringing the total positive test count to 327,241 cases as of the July 16th report. It is the seventh day out of the last eight that 10,000 or more cases were reported.
The FDOH also reported 62,245 new tests from Thursday. The positivity rate was 11.9% of the total, according to the report.

Statewide hospitalizations are at 20,191, an increase of 366. The state is now releasing numbers on currently hospitalized patients, and as of 11 am on Friday, there were 8,982 people hospitalized throughout the state with COVID-19 as their primary diagnosis.
4,805 people have died from the virus in Florida, an increase of 128 over the day before. This is the fourth straight day that over 100 deaths were reported by the FDOH.

Columbia County is at 1,150 – up 63 from yesterday.
Levy County is at 325 – up 14 from yesterday.
Bradford County is at 180 – up 7 from yesterday.
