Crestview man dies in Bradford County hit-and-run

A 70-year-old man from Crestview, Florida, died on Monday afternoon when he was hit from behind while riding a bicycle on State Road 100 northwest of Keystone Heights.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the Crestview man was riding a bicycle south on SR 100 near SE 11th Avenue in Bradford County around 2 p.m. when a sedan collided with the rear of the bicycle.

Emergency responders pronounced the bicyclist dead on scene.

Law enforcement located the sedan and charges are pending.
