A 37-year-old man died early Saturday morning when he lost control of his SUV, it overturned and he was ejected on NE 910th Avenue in Dixie County near Bell.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man – with his residence listed in Columbia, Florida – was driving west on NE 910th Avenue near State Road 349 at 12:59 a.m. when he lost control of his Chevrolet SUV.
The vehicle left the road and overturned multiple times and the driver was ejected. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
Dixie County paramedics pronounced the man dead on scene.
