Update: Sunday, 10:36 p.m. â€” Gainesville Police Department (GPD) spokesperson David Chudzik reported that Ean Stephens, who had been missing since Thursday night, was found and in good condition. No other information was released at this time.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) issued a missing child alert for a 13-year-old Gainesville boy on Friday morning, followed by a Gainesville Police Department alert early Friday afternoon.

“Police are searching for 13-year old Ean Stephens who was last seen at his family’s home on the 3700 block of SW 30th Terrace on Thursday evening at 10:45,” the GPD release said. “At this time, officers are canvassing the area searching for Stephens.”

Stephens was last seen wearing a dark gray shirt, black shorts or pants, and possibly black shoes. He is 5-foot-4 and weighs 120 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He also has a scar on his forehead and may be riding a black bicycle.

GPD asks anyone with information on the boy’s whereabouts to call 911.
