The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announced lane closures for State Road 26 at the Hatchet Creek Bridge, where construction work continues.

FDOT said the closures would start Thursday as permanent piles are delivered to the work site. The lane closures will continue on Feb. 23 and for around four weeks afterward, the department said.

Drivers should expect intermittent daytime lane closures that could cause delays. No detours are planned, FDOT said.
