The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DCR) located at the Millhopper Branch Library will reopen to only community members affected by Hurricane Debby on Wednesday.

According to the Alachua County Library District (ACLD), the DCR will reopen at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 3145 NW 43rd St. in Gainesville.

The ACLD reminds community members that this DCR is only working with people claiming damages from Hurricane Debby and is not set up to assist people who were affected by last week’s Hurricane Helene. FEMA will pass along information once this status changes.
