Gainesville Fire Rescue (GFR) crews extinguished a blaze at a residential home on SE 3rd Avenue on Tuesday.
According to a GFR release, personnel responded to a house fire at 1609 SE 3rd Ave.
Upon arrival, the crew found heavy smoke coming from the roof. Firefighters searched the home and confirmed that all residents were located safely outside.
Firefighters put out the blaze and ventilated the structure to clear out the smoke.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
