Florida DOH reports 10,328 new positive COVID-19 cases, 441 hospitalizations, and 90 fatalities

The Florida Department of Health reported 10,328 new cases to the Florida COVID-19 Dashboard, bringing the total positive test count to 337,569 cases as of the July 17th report. It is the eighth day out of the last nine that 10,000 or more cases were reported.

Here is a breakdown of the new coronavirus cases reported by the state each day for all of July:

Statewide hospitalizations­­­ are at 20,632, an increase of 441. 

4,895 people have died from the virus in Florida, an increase of 90 over the day before.

Alachua County is at 2,531  – up 66 from yesterday.
Gilchrist County is at 201 – up 10 from yesterday
Columbia County is at 1181 – up 31 from yesterday.
Levy County is at 332 – up 7 from yesterday.
Bradford County is at 185  – up 5 from yesterday.
 
In Alachua County towns:
Alachua/LaCrosse/Worthington Springs 147  – up 4 from yesterday.
Archer 49  – no change from yesterday.
Hawthorne  31 – up 3 from yesterday.
High Springs 41  – no change from yesterday.
Micanopy 18  – up 2 from yesterday.
Newberry 103  – up 3 from yesterday.
Waldo  – no change from yesterday.
