
The Florida Department of Health reported 9,194 new cases to the Florida COVID-19 Dashboard, bringing the total positive test count to 290,629 cases as of the July 12th report.
The FDOH also reported 61,212 new tests from Sunday. The positive rate was 15.02% of the total, according to the report.

Statewide hospitalizations are at 18,881 an increase of 383. The state is now releasing numbers on currently hospitalized patients, the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration dashboard shows 8,190 people are receiving treatment at medical facilities across the state due to COVID-19.
4,409 people have died from the virus in Florida, an increase of 132 over the day before. This is the highest single-day of deaths reported by the DOH since the pandemic began.

Columbia County is at 624 – up 35 from yesterday.
Levy County is at 273 – up 9 from yesterday.
Bradford County is at 145 – up 1 from yesterday.
