A 55-year-old Gainesville man died Tuesday night when his pickup truck left the road on NW 107th Terrace and hit a tree.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving northbound on NW 107th Terrace at NW 11th Avenue in Gainesville at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday when his vehicle traveled to the right off the road, through a ditch, into shrubbery and then struck a tree.
FHP responded to the accident around 8:16 a.m. on Wednesday.
Alachua County Fire Rescue pronounced the man dead on scene.
