Single-vehicle I-75 accident claims Fort White woman

A 34-year-old Fort White woman died Sunday morning when her SUV left Interstate 75 and collided with a tree.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the woman was driving northbound on I-75 at 12:10 a.m. when her vehicle left the roadway to the right near mile marker 394 north of Gainesville. The vehicle collided with a tree, FHP said.

Emergency responders pronounced the woman deceased on the scene.
