A 5-year-old Lake City girl died on Saturday when she fell from a pickup truck on NW Brook Loop.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, a 39-year-old Lake City man was driving a pickup truck on private property at 6:27 p.m. when the 5-year-old girl fell from the exterior of the vehicle.
Emergency responders transported the girl to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
