Lake City Columbia pockets solid victory over Jacksonville Riverside 28-26

Lake City Columbia topped Jacksonville Riverside 28-26 in a tough tilt in a Florida high school football matchup.

The Tigers avoided the brakes and shifted into victory gear via a 21-0 stretch over the final quarter.

The Generals came from behind to grab the advantage heading to the fourth quarter over the Tigers 26-7.

Lake City Columbia fought to a 7-6 intermission margin at Jacksonville Riverside’s expense.

The start wasn’t the problem for the Generals, who began with a 6-0 edge over the Tigers through the end of the first quarter.
