A 60-year-old Lake City man died when his sedan left NW Turner Avenue on Thursday afternoon and struck a tree.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving north on NW Turner Avenue near NW Parks Drive in Lake City at 1:31 p.m. when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree head-on.
Emergency responders pronounced the man dead on scene. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
