Lake City man dies when pickup overturns

A 29-year-old Lake City man died Friday evening when his pickup traveled off County Road 247 and overturned.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving south on CR 247 at 6:45 p.m. when he ran off the west shoulder of the road. The pickup overturned and the driver died as the result of crash.

FHP reported the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
