Live Oak man dies in early morning UTV accident

A 49-year-old Live Oak man is dead after crashing a UTV early Saturday morning in Suwannee County.

According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident occurred at 2:15 a.m. on private property near 193rd Road in Live Oak.

The 49-year-old man was traveling south with two passengers when he flipped the UTV and was ejected. First responders pronounced him deceased on the scene.

The two passengers, a 35-year-old Christmas man and a 59-year-old Live Oak woman, both suffered minor injuries.

FHP did not estimate the speed the UTV was traveling at the time of the accident, or what may have cause the vehicle to overturn, but it did report that none of the three individuals was wearing a seatbelt.
